B CORP CERTIFICATION
Miron® is now a Certified B Corp™
A milestone in making our responsibility measurable, transparent, and accountable.
)
For over thirty years, we have applied standards to what we make.
But our responsibility does not stop with the glass. Where we source. Who we work with. How we treat people. How we manage our impact.
B Lab assessed the whole company against its standards. We are proud to be a Certified B Corporation.
What B Corp certification means
B Corp certification looks beyond individual products. It considers how a company operates as a whole across five areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Together, they look at how a company is run, who it affects, and the impact it has.
The assessment looks at social and environmental performance, as well as transparency and accountability. Companies are asked to support their answers with evidence, creating a structured way to assess how policies and intentions translate into practice.
Miron's detailed assessment results are publicly available through B Lab.
These are the five areas, and what each one asked of us.
)
Governance
How we make decisions, whose interests we consider, and how open we are about both.
)
Workers
How the people here are paid, how safely they work, how they develop, and whether they have a say in what affects them.
)
Community
Who we buy from, who we produce with, and how we check them.
)
Environment
how we manage the energy, emissions, waste, and water behind our glass.
)
Customers
the quality of what is sold, how it is marketed, how data is handled, and how feedback from our customers and partners is collected and acted on.
Why it matters
Our purpose is now embedded in our articles of association. This gives the interest of employees, customers, suppliers, the environment, and shareholders a formal place in how decisions are considered.
Responsibility is not only something we express. It is part of how Miron is governed.
Choosing packaging also means choosing the company behind it.
B Corp certification gives customers another source of information about how Miron operates. Our assessment information is publicly available, making it possible to look beyond our own claims and learn more about the company you are working with.
The certification applies to Miron as a company. It does not certify Miron glass or the formulation inside it.
B Corp also looks at how a company treats and supports the people who work there.
For Miron, that includes working conditions, employee voice, learning, and development. The process has helped us look more closely at where our existing practices are working and where they need more structure.
''We have always believed a company answers to more than its shareholders. Restoring the connection between people, products and nature is why Miron exists. That belief is now verified, and this is the most exciting part: from here, we get to raise it."

What this means for you
B Corp certification applies to Miron Violetglass B.V. as a company. It is not a product certification. That distinction matters when describing your own packaging.
Is my product B Corp certified?
No. The certification covers the company, not the glass. It does not apply to individual bottles, jars, closures, or the formulations they contain. Using Miron packaging does not make your product B Corp certified.
Does B Corp certification change Miron glass?
No. The certification does not change the properties or specifications of Miron glass. It assesses the company behind the glass and how it operates.
Can I say my packaging comes from a Certified B Corporation?
Yes. This describes your supplier rather than your own company or product. Using Miron packaging does not mean you can describe your company or product as B Corp certified.
Use of the B Corp name and logo is subject to B Lab's current brand and trademark guidelines.
