Miron offers jars in four categories: cosmetic jars, wide neck jars, vitamin jars, and apothecary jars. Each category is suited to a different application. Cosmetic jars suit creams, balms, and masks. Wide neck jars suit supplements, spices, honey, and dry goods. Vitamin jars suit capsules and tablets. Apothecary jars suit botanicals, herbs, and display applications. All are available in a range of sizes and thread finishes with matching lids and closures.
Miron jars come with three types of lids: classic lids with rounded edges, modern lids with straight lines, and premium Clio tinplate lids for some sizes. Each lid has a unique thread that fits its jar and includes a violet PHAN sealing element for an airtight seal. You can add pressure-sensitive seals and disc liners for extra protection. Child-resistant lids are also available for the Eris series.
You can request samples of Miron jars before placing a larger order. Samples are available for all jar types. We recommend testing the jar with your chosen lid or closure. This lets you see the fit, proportions, and look before you commit to larger order quantities.
Most Miron jars work well for dry formulations, powders, creams, and semi-solid products. While the Lyra apothecary jar features a natural cork stopper, it is best suited for dry goods rather than liquids. For liquids, Miron's bottle range offers better options. If you have questions, our sales team is here to help.
The right jar depends on your product's consistency, how you apply it, and the volume needed. A wide opening works best for products that people scoop or sprinkle. Concentrated formulas fit well in smaller jars with a narrow neck. Our packaging experts can help you find the best option for your product and brand.
