For more than 30 years, Florihana has refined its distillation methods. The company is based on the Plateau de Caussols above Grasse, France. This protected area is known for its aromatic plants. They grow under the southern sun and play a key role in Florihana's products.
A French and Japanese couple founded Florihana in 1993. They shared a respect for nature, balance, and sustainable living. Those values still guide the company today. From its distillery on the Plateau de Caussols, Florihana makes certified organic products for aromatherapy and skincare.

The challenge
Gentle enough for all skin types yet powerful in its simplicity
Where purity begins
Florihana's process begins in the fields of the Plateau de Caussols. Wild lavender grows here. The team harvests it at peak bloom and brings it to the distillery the same day.
Co-founder Alain Durante developed the company's low-temperature distillation method. The team adjusts the temperature for each plant. This helps preserve its natural aroma and character. The result is pure essential oils and hydrosols.
Nothing goes to waste. After distillation, the team reuses the plant material as compost or animal feed. This supports a circular approach and helps reduce waste.
Florihana meets leading organic standards in Europe, Japan, and the United States. These standards reflect the company's focus on purity, sustainability, and respect for nature.
From essence to experience
Florihana began with essential oils and hydrosols for aromatherapy. As the company grew, it added skincare products. The goal stayed the same: create natural products with care.
The team develops each product in its own lab. They choose the ingredients and manage production from start to finish. Many products contain more than 50 percent certified organic ingredients.
Florihana often uses its own hydrosols in place of water. Rose and chamomile are two examples. This approach is part of the brand's focus on natural ingredients. The result is a skincare range inspired by aromatherapy and designed for daily use.

Results in practice
Preserving purity with Miron glass
Protecting the vitality of botanical ingredients
Nature provides the foundation for every Florihana product. The company's role is to preserve that quality from harvest to bottling. Every step in the process reflects a focus on transparency, authenticity, and respect for nature.
Protecting natural ingredients takes more than careful production. It also requires the right packaging. Florihana wanted a material that could help protect its products during storage while matching the clean and simple look of the brand.
That search led to Miron glass. Miron glass filters light in a different way than standard glass. This helps create favorable storage conditions for botanical products over time. For Florihana, it was a natural fit. The glass supports the aroma, quality, and character of its carefully selected ingredients while complementing the brand's design philosophy.

A partnership of principles
Florihana and Miron share more than a partnership. They share a commitment to protecting natural products.
Both companies believe that innovation should support nature, not replace it. They also believe that quality begins with care and respect for the ingredients themselves.
Designed to protect
By choosing Miron glass, Florihana emphasizes quality beyond just the formula. The company aimed for packaging that matches the care in its products.
Each bottle contributes to this goal. Miron glass limits light exposure during storage. This helps preserve the aroma, quality, and character of Florihana's natural ingredients from first use to last.
“Our collaboration with Miron glass reflects a mutual commitment to preserving natural integrity through exceptional craftsmanship. Miron helps us maintain our promise to keep our products as close to nature as possible, protected with the same care with which they are created.”
