EAT Skincare was founded by Sandra Christiansen. It grew from her journey to better health. Frustrated by hormonal breakouts and fatigue, she started removing questionable items from her life. She began in the kitchen and moved to her bathroom.

This led to a transformation in her health, skin, and daily habits. EAT Skincare became her way to share this discovery. Today, the company offers skincare so pure it could be in your pantry. It uses edible-grade, non-toxic ingredients that support the skin's natural biology.

EAT Skincare

The skincare pantry that changed everything

Skincare should reinforce the body’s design instead of fighting it.

The challenge

“Skincare should reinforce the body’s design instead of fighting it.”

A radical philosophy of subtraction

What makes EAT different is not what it adds, but what it removes. After struggling with acne, Sandra began simplifying her routine. She took out ingredients that didn’t suit her skin. This included fragrance allergens, harsh surfactants, and extra fillers.

This experience became the foundation of EAT. The brand follows a simple principle: start with less, focus on what matters, and pair it with thoughtful packaging and simple routines.

Skincare like food

EAT speaks to the overlooked role of the bathroom as a source of daily toxins.

Sandra explains: "It’s easy to forget that skin is a living interface and that certain substances can be absorbed through it. What we put on it matters just as much as what we eat."

EAT encourages you to think of skincare as food. Look at labels like you do with kitchen ingredients. Ask yourself if each item really benefits your skin's ecosystem.

Formulating with intention

At the heart of EAT's products is grass-fed beef tallow. Sandra chose it for its simple composition and long history of use in skincare. It's rich in skin-friendly fats and pairs well with other chosen ingredients.

Properly rendered tallow feels light and blends into the skin easily. This goes against common beliefs. It also creates formulas with a smooth texture and a consistent character.

EAT combines tallow with stable oils and antioxidants. This mix creates products made for everyday use. The result is an easy method based on selected ingredients and careful formulation.

Minimalist hero formulations

EAT’s compact range includes two hero products:

Tallow Balm: This whipped balm feels like mousse. It melts into your skin and leaves a satin finish. Because its simple formula lacks synthetic preservatives, you must store it away from light and air to prevent oxidation.

Honey Face Wash: This gentle cleanser doesn't contain surfactants, has a soft texture! and a light scent. It helps maintain your skin's natural balance.

To keep these products in good condition, they need careful formulation and protection. Store them in light-proof glass containers with little air. This helps maintain their freshness, aroma, and texture.

Results in practice

Packaging that keeps the promise

Protection for fresh, nutrient-dense formulas

Fresh oils and botanical ingredients can change when exposed to heat, oxygen, and light.

That is why EAT chose Miron glass. By filtering light, it helps create favorable storage conditions for the product.

Sandra first tested clear and amber glass. Over time, she noticed changes in scent, color, and texture, especially during warmer months.

"The packaging worked well, but we saw faster scent fade and subtle changes in color and feel over time."

Based on that experience, EAT switched to Miron glass.

Visual: "The deep violet glass gives the product a distinctive and premium look."

Touch: "The weight and feel of the glass add to the experience."

Emotion: "The glass encourages a slower and more mindful skincare routine."

Function: "Miron glass helps reduce light exposure, supporting the scent, texture, and overall quality of the product during storage."

How Miron glass works

What Miron made possible

Shared values, shared results

Sandra is firm: partnerships must match her values. “Integrity is non-negotiable,” she says. “We choose partners who value quality over shortcuts. They also know how important it is to protect our formulas, not just scent them.”

Miron meets this standard. Customers often note how the packaging keeps the product fresh. It maintains aroma and texture while looking great on the shelf.

Closing the loop

People appreciate its reuse potential. Many repurpose the jars for spices or supplements. This supports our kitchen-meets-skincare philosophy.

We’re grateful for partners who understand why less can be more and when the inputs are truly good.
