Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) introduces new requirements for packaging across the European Union. Its goal is to reduce packaging waste, improve recyclability, and support a more circular use of materials.
At Miron, we support this direction. In line with our commitment to protecting natural value and using materials responsibly, we have prepared our portfolio and documentation for the requirements that currently apply. As a supplier of packaging and packaging materials, we provide documentation to support our customers with their PPWR conformity assessment obligations.
Further PPWR requirements will be introduced over the coming years as technical criteria, standards, and implementing rules are finalized. We are closely monitoring these developments and will continue to assess our portfolio and make adjustments where needed.

Looking ahead
Preparing beyond 2026
PPWR does not introduce every requirement at once. Further technical criteria and methodologies will be defined and applied over the coming years.
Miron has conducted a risk-based assessment across our portfolio and continues to monitor developments related to reuse, harmonized packaging labeling, Design for Recycling, recycled-at-scale assessment, and packaging minimization. We will continue to assess our portfolio as these requirements are finalized and make adjustments where needed.
Our aim is simple: to provide clear information, act responsibly, and help our customers make informed packaging choices as the regulatory framework develops.
